Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP), Subramanian Swamy said that the sacking of Tirumala former chief priest, Dr. A.V. Ramana Deekshitulu, is gross illegal exercise of power by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and added that he would approach Supreme Court (SC) to quash the dismissal. He said that he will also seek a Court-monitored Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the financial misappropriation of Temple funds by TTD. The Apex Court had earlier issued guidelines over the issue and will review it tomorrow.
